Our beliefs
We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, supernaturally inspired Word of God. We believe in verbal plenary inspiration; that it does not contain the Word of God, but is the very Word of God; therefore it is the absolute and final authority for faith and conduct.
We believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man, that He was born of a virgin and that He lived a sinless life, in which He taught and wrought mighty works and wonders and signs exactly as revealed in the four Gospels, that He was crucified, died as a penalty for our sins and was raised from the dead bodily on the third day. Later He ascended to the Father’s right hand where He is head of the church and intercedes for believers, and from whence He is coming again personally, bodily, visibly to this earth to set up His millennial kingdom.
We believe that the great blessing of the gospel is justification. Justification includes the pardon of sins and the gift of eternal life freely bestowed not because of works of righteousness on our part, but solely through faith in the Redeemer’s blood. The righteousness of Christ is imputed unto us.
We believe that it is the solemn responsibility of believers to practice a life of holiness. It is the solemn responsibility of the church to promote and preserve Godly lifestyles.
We believe that true believers are eternally secure. Sin may interrupt the joy of fellowship with God, it may bring loving discipline from the heavenly Father, but a believer cannot lose his salvation.
